Bedna-Tucker-Franco joins All-Star addition

Additional players have begun to join the Major League All-Star in the 2023 season.
The Major League Baseball Secretariat announced on the 5th (Korea Standard Time) that Pittsburgh Pirates right-hander David Bedna, Houston Astros outfielder Kyle Tucker, and Tampa Bay Rays infielder Wander Franco were selected for the All-Star.
They will replace Clayton Kershaw (Dodgers), 메이저놀이터 Aaron Judge (Yankies), and Mike Trout (Angels), who are unable to play in the All-Star due to injuries.
Bedna was honored to be an All-Star for the second consecutive year. He has played 31 1/3 innings in 31 games this season and has a 1.44 ERA. He has made 16 saves out of 17 saves and is guarding the back door of the team.
With Bedna’s joining, Pittsburgh will have two players participating in the All-Star after Mitch Keller.
Tucker was also called to the All-Star for the second consecutive year. In 83 games this season, he has a batting average of 0.295 on-base percentage, 0.370 slugging percentage, 0.487 13 home runs and 55 RBIs.
Along with Pramber Valdez and Jordan Alvarez, he will represent the Astros and head to the Mid Summer Classic.
Franco is the first All-Star. In 80 games, he received an invitation as a result of playing with a batting average of 0.283 on-base percentage of 0.343 slugging percentage of 0.459 nine home runs and 42 RBIs.
With his joining, the Rays will send a total of four players to the All-Star team, along with All-Star Jandi Diaz, Randy Arozarena and Shane McClanahan.
