Cordero, Domestic Violence Problem Season Out…Yankees ‘fully support disciplinary action’

New York Yankees bullpen Jimmy Cordero (32) was out for the season due to problems outside the game.

MLB Dotcom, the official website of Major League Baseball, said on the 6th (Korea Standard Time) that “Codero was suspended from the rest of the 먹튀검증 regular and postseason games in 2023 for violating MLB domestic violence, sexual violence, and child abuse.”

Cordero’s disciplinary action comes into force immediately. Considering the Yankees’ schedule, Cordero’s suspension is expected to be 76 games. ESPN, a U.S. sports channel, reported, “The 76-game suspension is the longest disciplinary action in the league after Trevor Bauer (324 games, reduced to 194 games on appeal), Sam Dyson (162 games), Jose Torres (100 games), Hector Olivera (82) and Domingo Herman (81 games).” Yankees manager Aaron Boone heard from Codero a few days ago that a league-level investigation was underway. Yankees captain Aaron Judge said, “I hope this will help me become a better person.”

Cordero, a right – handed pitcher from the Dominican Republic, made his debut for the Washington Nationals in 2018. MLB’s career (4 years) record is 6 wins, 7 losses, and a 21 hold ERA of 4.36. He joined the Yankees on a minor league contract in 2022 when he was recovering from Tommy John Surgery (elbow ligament joint surgery). This season, he pitched 31 games (one start) and recorded a 3.86 ERA (32 2/3 innings) with 3 wins, 2 losses, and 8 holds. The WHIP was compliant to 1.071 days. The Yankees filled Cordero’s vacancy with minor league Triple-A right-hander Randy Vazquez. Vazquez’s Triple-A performance this season is 2-8 with a 5.11 ERA.
